ATTENDANCE
Warwick Road Primary School is committed to providing the best education possible for each and every child, regardless of age, ability, gender, race or background. Parents, staff and governors work together in partnership to ensure that maximum attendance is achieved at all times.
Regular attendance enables children to become established within the class, become confident members of the school community and access the full curriculum on offer.
We need your support in ensuring that your child/children attend school regularly and on time.
School is open to children 190 days per year, and we would hope that they attend for as much of that time as possible. We realise that there are going to be times, mainly because of illness, when pupils need to be absent.
This brief guidance is aimed at bringing some particular points to your attention which we believe to be of the greatest importance. We hope it will help parents and carers understand school procedures and help us to work together to improve school attendance.
